The Little Cloud Snow Gun is designed to work with most homes across the world. However, there are home requirements that are important to make sure things work properly.
REQUIREMENT 1 – The Water Source must have a pressure of at least 30 PSI
The Little Cloud Snow Gun does not require a pressure washer, BUT it does require some water pressure to work properly. In the US, a typical home has anywhere from 30-80 PSI of water pressure. The Little Cloud Snow Gun requires 30 – 100 PSI, so the water droplets are small enough to form snowflakes as they exit the nozzles. If you think you have low water pressure in your home, we recommend testing the water pressure with a pressure gauge to make sure.
If your water source is below 30 PSI, you will need a booster pump to increase the pressure to 30 – 100 PSI. Do not exceed 100 PSI or the snow gun will NOT work.
REQUIREMENT 2 – Adequate Power Source
The Little Cloud only requires one outlet for the Air Compressor. With a compressor between 4.5 – 7 CFM @ 90 PSI, you will have no problem using any standard 110v outlet in your home. Always double-check your air compressor to ensure your home power source can support the equipment.
