Each Train Package includes the custom components needed to safely and efficiently run multiple pressure washers in tandem. Engineered with high-pressure manifolds, durable hoses, and secure quick-connect fittings, these kits enable you to merge water from multiple pressure washers into a single, higher flow stream while maintaining the optimal pressure needed for the Cold Front.

Requirements

AIR COMPRESSOR

(1) Air compressor is required with the Cold Front Snow Gun. The air compressor must be rated for at least 5 CFM @ 90 PSI to work properly. Recommended compressor size is between 5-6 CFM @ 90 PSI. Compressors rated greater than 6 CFM @ 90 PSI will work, but will not improve snow quality.

PRESSURE WASHER(S)

The Cold Front will work with any pressure washer that can produce at least 1000 PSI. The Cold Front Snow Gun will work with any pressure washer or combination of pressure washers rated up to 10 GPM (gallons per minute) of water flow. You have the option to use multiple pressure washers, but can always use a single pressure washer or large pump to start out.

HIGH FLOW WATER SOURCE (more than pressure washer GPM)

When using larger pressure washers, you will need a water source that can supply more water. Make sure your water source can output more GPMs than your pressure washer(s) or pump(s).

FREEZING TEMPERATURES

The Cold Front Snow Gun requires freezing conditions to produce real snow. For more information about snowmaking temperatures Click HERE

Snow Output

The amount of snow produced will be determined by the pressure washer or pump GPM (gallons per minute) rating. If you use multiple pressure washers, then it will be determined by the total combined flow rate. 5 GPM = 5" per hour of snow production. 6 GPM = 6" of snow per hour, etc. The Cold Front Snow Gun can handle up to 10 GPM of water flow from the pressure washer(s). The approximate area coverage for the Cold Front Snow Gun is 20' x 80'.
