Return Policy

Backyard Snowstorm offers a 30-day return window for all products.

Pre-orders purchased before September 15th are eligible for return until October 15th.
Unopened items → 10% restocking fee + shipping costs.
Opened items → 25% retesting fee (based on product cost) + shipping costs.
Damaged or heavily used items → additional deductions may apply to cover repair or replacement costs.

All returns must be shipped in original or equivalent protective packaging.
Because of our short snowmaking season and hands-on testing process, these policies help ensure that every customer receives a product that meets our high performance standards.

Warranty Policy

All Backyard Snowstorm products include a 1-Year Limited Warranty covering defects in materials, assembly, or workmanship under normal use and conditions.

What’s Covered

Manufacturing or assembly defects
Shipping damage
Failures occurring under normal operation

If a defect is confirmed within the warranty period, Backyard Snowstorm will repair or replace the affected part or unit at no charge — including all parts, labor, and shipping.

What’s Not Covered

Damage caused by misuse, neglect, or modification
Normal wear and tear
Third-party equipment such as pressure washers or air compressors not sold by Backyard Snowstorm

Post-Warranty Repairs

Even after the 1-year warranty expires, Backyard Snowstorm will continue to repair your snow gun or product at no charge for parts and labor. This offer applies to our real snowmaking products only.
Customers only need to cover shipping costs to and from our shop in Draper, Utah.

This ensures your Backyard Snowstorm equipment can stay in service for many years of snowmaking enjoyment.
