What You Need to Make Real Snow
Before anything else, you need the right weather. It needs to be cold and dry enough for water droplets to freeze into snowflakes. This depends on something called wet bulb temperature, which combines air temperature and humidity.
To make snow, the wet bulb must be 27°F or lower. Colder, drier nights (especially below 25°F) are perfect.
A Pressure Washer moves water through the snow gun at high pressure. This allows water droplets to be broken down into the proper size for snowflake formation. It also assists in throwing the snowflakes away from the snow gun and is the main driving factor is how much snow can be produced.
An Air Compressor is used to break down water droplets in the snow gun into tiny ice crystals. These ice crystals act at the core (nucleus) of the snowflakes as they form.
