The Cold Front Snow Gun is the perfect step up for extreme or small commercial snowmakers who want to cover more area and make snow faster. With snow output ranging from 1 to 10 inches per hour, it can cover areas from 25 to 80 feet long—great for backyard sledding hills, tubing tracks, snow-related events, and building up deep snow in bigger spaces.

Designed to work with higher-flow pressure washers or pumps (up to 10 GPM) along with a standard air compressor, the Cold Front safely combines pressurized water with compressed air to create the ideal mix of ice crystals and water droplets. This combination, paired with our engineered design, allows real snowflakes to form in cold weather conditions.

Setup is quick and easy. Just connect your pressure washer or pump and your air compressor to the Cold Front’s inlets using standard quick-connect fittings. Sized and engineered nozzles are included and matched to your pressure washer’s flow rate, ensuring efficient and high-quality snow production.

Requirements

AIR COMPRESSOR

(1) Air compressor is required with the Cold Front Snow Gun. The Air Compressor must be rated at least 5 CFM @ 90 PSI to work properly. Recommended compressor size is between 5-6 CFM @ 90 PSI. Compressors rated greater than 6 CFM @ 90 PSI will work, but will not improve snow quality.

PRESSURE WASHER or HIGH PRESSURE WATER PUMP

The Cold Front will work with any pressure washer or high-pressure pump that can produce at least 1000 PSI. You can also use multiple pressure washers/pumps in a "Train System". The Cold Front Snow Gun will work with any pressure washer(s) rated up to 10 GPM (gallons per minute). The optimal flow rate range for the Cold Front is between 5-10 GPM.

HIGH FLOW WATER SOURCE (more than pressure washer GPM)

When using larger pressure washers, you will need a water source than can supply more water. Make sure your water source can output more GPMs than your pressure washer(s) or pump(s).

FREEZING TEMPERATURES

Snow Output

The amount of snow produced will be determined by the pressure washer/pump GPM (gallons per minute) rating. 5 GPM = 5" per hour of snow production. 6 GPM = 6" of snow per hour, etc. The Cold Front Snow Gun can handle up to 10 GPM of water flow from the pressure washer(s). The approximate area coverage for the Cold Front Snow Gun is 20' x 25' to 80' at max flow.

Upgrade Options

Upgrade the Cold Front Snow Gun over time! The Cold Front Snow Gun can be used in a simple setup with one pressure washer or large high-pressure pump, or in a multi-train setup with multiple pressure washers/pumps!
